AUTOMATIC POUCH LABELING MACHINE

This high speed DGT pouch labeling machine is equipped with three (3) pouch holding magazines and a cam-driven triple-pick pouch transfer gripper. The gripper motion is synchronized with a linear lug-type conveyor below, which displaces pouches towards the labeling station. Up to three (3) pouches are picked at the same time from the magazines and synchronously transferred onto the lug conveyor below. The lugs advance the pouches towards the labeling station where each pouch is transferred onto a high friction conveyor belt. The pouch is secured to the conveyor belt with spring-loaded top-mounted rollers during transfer below the label peel-off knife. The label dispensing system is based on a heavy duty, industrial HERMA label applicator. The applicator is mounted on a heavy-duty support which is adjustable in the X and Y plane. To facilitate the adjustment of label positioning on the pouch, the trigger sensor is mounted on an ergonomic slider with a locking handle.
